CARDIFF CANINE KNEE CLINIC
At CCKC our aim is to provide expert management of knee injuries in dogs at affordable prices.
We offer a free initial consultation to allow examination of your dog and discussion of their problem. Providing referral surgery at affordable, fixed prices we will tailor all treatments to your dog’s individual needs.
Our pricing is completely transparent – the prices you see are totally inclusive and there are no hidden extra costs. This allows you to best manage your self- fund or insurance budget.
We are happy to consider direct insurance claims (you pay your excess and we claim the remainder direct from your insurance company).
Patellar Luxation
Patellar luxation (kneecap dislocation) is a common condition in dogs that can cause pain, lameness and arthritis. The condition typically causes a skipping lameness in small breeds but is now being recognised in large breed dogs, especially Labradors.
Cruciate Ligament Rupture
Cruciate ligament rupture is the most common cause of lameness in the dog, which if left untreated can cause significant pain, arthritis and loss in quality of life. There are a number of different operations that can help alleviate this pain and get your dog back to its normal lifestyle as quickly as possible.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS HAVE TO SAY
I would like to say thank you to Cardiff Canine Knee Clinic.
Milo has been able to enjoy time off the lead in fields, on walks and at the beach. He is still able to fully weight bare afterwards!
I am so grateful! Thank you all
12 months ago I had a dog that I thought would never run again. However, thanks to Cardiff Canine Knee Clinic’s perseverance and professionalism Glen ran in his first nursery trial of the season and came third!
Thanks again Tom and all the other friendly professional staff.
The team at Cardiff Canine Knee Clinic have seen us through four surgeries for our boys and I am so grateful to them.
From the first conversation my nerves were eased. They were very knowledgeable, but more importantly to me understood my concerns and cared.
Tom did an incredible job and took the time to explain everything clearly to help me understand the aftercare process – I think that’s really the key.
The team is highly but also hugely compassionate and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Our Chihuahuas were referred by our regular vet who informed us Tom was an excellent bone surgeon!
We had 3 surgeries performed on two of our dogs and the service we recieved before, during and after surgery was excellent. We were initially anxious about surgery but thankfully surgery went well and we received a prompt telephone call advising us all was well. We are very pleased to be able to agree with our vet – Tom did a brilliant job on all 3 surgeries
